    Dr. Tuyet Nguyen brings over a decade of experience to her dual roles as a board-certified Adult Geriatric Primary Care and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She takes a patient-centered approach, treating the whole person with compassion and empathy.

    As an immigrant fluent in both English and Vietnamese, Dr. Nguyen values the role culture and diversity play in delivering personalized care. Her dedication, integrity, and friendly demeanor have earned the trust of patients and colleagues alike.

    With a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, multiple degrees, and certifications, Dr. Nguyen has worked in diverse settings, including inpatient hospitals, rehabilitation centers, corporate offices, and private practices. She specializes in treating acute, chronic, and complex mental health conditions, including PTSD, addiction, anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

    Dr. Nguyen combines psychopharmacology with therapy, ensuring patients feel supported and informed—not like "guinea pigs." She is also a certified Buprenorphine prescriber and advocates for comprehensive, collaborative care to help patients achieve lasting wellness.

    Family Nurse Practitioner

    Kristina Brown is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to treating the whole person, not just symptoms. By building trust and forming meaningful connections with her patients, Kristina fosters professional yet effective relationships that enhance the quality of care she provides. She utilizes evidence-based practices to ensure her care is both safe and impactful.

    Specializing in mental health and addiction medicine, Kristina is passionate about combating the opioid epidemic and is a certified Buprenorphine prescriber. Her expertise includes treating a wide range of conditions such as depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, mood disorders, addiction, and PTSD.

    Kristina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from MCPHS University, where she also earned a postgraduate certification in Telehealth Medicine. With experience in inpatient and outpatient settings, addiction medicine clinics, and telehealth care, Kristina brings a versatile and compassionate approach to her practice.

  • Dr. Alicia Ottati, PhD, MS, MA

    Licensed Clinical Psychologist

    Dr. Alicia Ottati is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 12 years of experience in diverse clinical settings and a distinguished career in the United States Air Force. Before her military service, she managed programs for developmentally disabled adults and residential facilities for individuals with Alzheimer’s. In 2001, Dr. Ottati joined the Air Force as a Behavioral Scientist, beginning her psychology education and training in 2010 at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland, where she conducted research in the Cancer Survivorship Lab.

    During her military career, Dr. Ottati completed her psychology internship at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, managed outpatient mental health and substance abuse clinics, treated active duty service members, and contributed as a subject matter expert on military mental health initiatives. After retiring from the Air Force, she provided care to older adults and veterans in long-term care facilities.

    Now in private practice, Dr. Ottati specializes in psychotherapy and assessment via telehealth in PSYPACT-participating states. Her expertise includes trauma, mood disorders, substance abuse, chronic illness, and end-of-life concerns. She is an LGBTQ-affirming therapist dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all patients.

    Dr. Ottati also provides assessments for diagnostic clarification, ADHD, mental health disability, and VA disability claims. She uses evidence-based treatments, primarily cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with a focus on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and is trained in trauma-focused therapies and additional CBT modalities.
